Species Identified

Eucinostomus havana (Nichols, 1912) (Cuban mojarra) Generally found over vegetated sand grounds and over mud bottoms in mangrove areas . May form aggregations. Probably feeds on small benthic invertebrates . Marketed fresh but not highly esteemed; processed into fishmeal .
