aka Wayne's Place This was one of the more insane dives for a couple of reasons. The initial visibility wasn't good--maybe 30 feet. We saw a giant crab stuffed into a wall and then looked for the channel. It was a very long swim through that started at 28ft and had so many twists and turns that it felt like a cave at times. After 2 minutes of that (and thankful I was behind someone with a dive light) we came into a long column that had clearer water and we were at 74 ft. The top above us was partially closed but it had a ripping current. Suddenly, another diver named Fu lost his weights and started shooting up. Another diver John shot up and grabbed him and then Adam started to have to pull John down. After the drama, we had to pass through another bunch of swim throughs (with a fair amount of surge) and we ended up coming out of a wall. The visibility at the wall was over 100 ft. During this time, it became apparent that Fu lost his weights again (assume issues with his BC). The dive master had FU hold onto weights and swim back to the boat. On the wall we saw a huge sea turtle resting.

6 in the group. 2 shot lines and we went down the shallow one. Big pack of Grouper waiting and they were fantastic, there were about 10 of them swimming really close and all around us. Went along wall and down to the wreck. Bow first with mast, then broken section - broken in the middle by Hurricane Mitch. On to stern section, few fish. Then we went back through the middle of it and back to the wall where saw smaller grouper, loads of corals, spider crab, huge angel fish, batfish, then went back to the big pack of Grouper who were waiting, like visiting old friends ha.

Very nice night dive. Squid, octopus, king crab, lots of different, very interesting crabs, including an amazing hermit crab about 3 mm long. There was a sleeping oxfish on the reef. That was very beautiful. The little puffers nestled into the barrel sponges was very nice as well. Finally saw an adult drum fish, after so many juvys. Really interesting to see two conchs out and active as well. Weird animals.

Queen angelfish, French Angelfish, Spotfin Butterfish, Schoolmaster, Yellow tail Damselfish, Spotted spine lobster, grasby, parrotfish, Lonspire squirrel fish, goldface toby, portspirefish, queen triggerfish, black durgon
