#166: Maamagili Beru After an amazing snorkel with 2 whale sharks, we went in for a dive hoping to locate the whale sharks again, but it was a pretty uneventful dive, and water was very cold! The most eventful it got was that my buddies descended without even realizing that I had not jumped off the boat. My mask strap came off as I was trying to get it on, and the 1 min that it took for me to re- attach it, the dive group was no longer visible from the surface. I swam out to look for them but did not see any signs below water nor any bubbles on the surface. So the dhoni towed me for a good distance until they found bubbles, and I was able to rejoin the group probably 5 mins in!
#167: Kudarah Thile. Very strong current on descent. Ee-Laine & I nearly got separated from the rest of the group but managed to clung on for dear life on a bommie, and gradually clawed our way across and down to the other side to rejoin the group.
#168: Medhu Faru. Strong currents - a few variety of eels. Nearly went pass channel for ascent until Zach called me back in.
#169: Guraidhoo Corner. Apparently diving here is spectacular in extremely strong currents. I was actually pretty glad that currents were mild, and we still saw lots: white tips, eagle rays, Napoleon and lots of other life. Dolphins on the surface at the end of dive.
