Bing loves fish today

Shared by Ksso on October 21, 2011 in News

I don't usually use Bing, and bumped there by accident, still pretty fun to find a pretty usual fish for us, scuba divers, on the front page: a Blennie ! This particular one is a "Parablennius gattorugine" which can be seen in the Mediterranean Sea and Atlantic Ocean.

Fun fact about them, the female lay eggs in a safe place (usually a crack in the reef) during spring, and the male will keep them safe while hovering above the nest to ensure proper oxygenation of the water.
