At Mataking, Sunset dive and Night dive is a free dive for all. Even since the last few diving trip, I was a bit lazy for night dive due to eyesight and also basically they were looking for micro. As Elieen being persuading us to go together while our last dive of the day was early and also to avoid doing on the next day, so we decided to join. I forgot to charge my torch battery, and managed to charge for an hour. Tang didn't bring along the torch, he borrow from Gan. Gan skip this dive. The funny thing happened, during descend Tang only realised the torch was not working. I told him to proceed the dive and just keep to my side. Frankly speaking, it is really cramp down there when there were so many divers gathered together in a spot especially night dive. There was some miscommunication during the dive call off. Elieen was given instruction to ascend, swimming towards to the shore, and I suddenly realised that my depth was more than 6m and I have not done my safety stop. No choice, I just follow them to the closest shoreline at about 3m to do my safety stop. When I was done they all gone. Really have to take a chance to learn the navigation especially so useful in night dive.

The return of Mataking, Sipadan. I almost forgo the entire trip when Yee Loo was infected with Covid-19 and followed by Yee Han a day before my departure. I dragged my PCR test until the morning before leaving for Tioman. Luckily the test was negative. However, that's does not relieve me as I still have to make sure my wife was able to deal with the situation without my present. She was strong enough to persuade me to go ahead for the trip. This trip was with a group of intimate dive buddies and travel companions. Ee, Cecilia, Gan, Tang and myself were travelling together from Penang to Tawau, transiting at KK, meeting master, Amy, Jeffery, Teri and 2 others new OWD Sam Cheah & Vanessa at our regular hotel at Tawau. Master's wife and family members also joined for the vacation stay. The next morning, we departed to Semporna Jetty after the famous local breakfast. O Meng and Abby were waiting us at the jetty. The resort, facilities and chalets were upgraded and extended after 4 years apart.
