Took Rob House out with Brian Dilly. Standard fare of Stack Rocks and Hen & Chicks. Getting dived up for forthcoming Scillies trip. Used a Pony instead of twins because was planning on this setup for Scillies, but wasn't very comfortable so Twins it will be.

Stack Rocks, out on Overdale with Alex Dilly. Brain was on the second boat he had out. Overdale was very full, so much so Ger and I had to wait for other divers to get in the water before we could kit up. English group, can't remember where from. As ever Kaz (kasra almasian) was onboard. Dive was OK, I tried to lead and navigate North alongside the Rock, but gully's and pinnacles got in the way and kind of forced us East. Found loads of kelp during 1st part of dive, but eventually found some sandy bottom. Viz was pretty good Tried a new kit layout with Longhose on my primary reg, and alternate on a bungie round my neck. Did a quick weight check at the end of the dive and found I;m overeweighted

Dive 2 with Nick King on Stack Rocks. Got separated at the end surfaced alone. All good. Dropped the ankle weights I used on Dive 1, still managed to descend and hold a safety stop. Still wonder if I'm over weighted

Stacks Rocks with Brian Dilly off Overdale. Joined a group from Bracknell. First use of Weezle so dived with 10Kg in weight pouches plus ankle weights. Think I'm overweighted so 2nd dive removed ankle weights

Out with Brian Dilly's crew (can't remember the name of the boat, Brian hired it - he had 3 boats out that day!). With Nick King and Geraldine Hendricks. June came along too as a passenger and ended up crewing. She manned the dive lift and was running round helping everyone kit up. She was also helping divers hold their balance as they hobbled to the entry point. Ended up being a fab day out We were supposed to dive as a three, but Nick headed off on his own (which was fine). Stayed on 8Kg, but was a big mistake. Buoyancy all over the shop and had an uncontrolled ascent from about 6m. Def need to up the weights. Stayed the night before in the van with June at Hasguard Cross. NK camped there too.

2nd Dive at Stack Rocks Went in with Colin and June - June's first dry-suit dive. Got separated so surfaced and returned to boat. Very Shallow dive and loads of kelp, so not a great dive for June to try out buoyancy in het new Dry Suit

Scalloping with CW Saw a small Octopus, gasve it a prod and it inked us a swam off!
