On holidays in the Canary Island to visit a couple of friends, we stopped for a few days in La Gomera. We stayed in a hostel in "Gran Rey" where we found a scuba shop manned by a very friendly German guy. The website is: www.gomera-dive-resort.com (the shop was on the south part of Gran Rey, after the port, in "Calle Vueltas"). The dingy was broken so all the dives started and finished from the beach, so no safety stops since we would surface slowly returning to the beach. The first dive was toward the end of the afternoon. Starting from the beach and having a round trip to get used to buoyancy after almost an year without diving.
Second dive in Gomera. I remember travelling for a few kilometres on the DM's van with two sets of tanks for a double dive. I cannot remember where we went though :-( so i'll log it generically as Valle Gran Rey.
Second dive of the day in Gomera. I remember bendy road on the van, but not exactly the location of the dive.
The Dive master wanted to repair his dingy and we entered the following compromise: I would have gone with him to the capital "San Sebastian" and helped him translating in Spanish while he spoke to mechanics and in the afternoon we would have done two dives from San Sebastian.
