Second dive of the day. Swam around the wreck, tried to do some swim throughs but the entrances were too narrow. Spent the rest of the dive sightseeing until other dives alerted me to a bunch of lobsters under the wreck. Being the only diver with a lobster motel and snare, I helped them pull out a couple and I pulled out a few. Ended up with 8 lobsters which we split among the boat. Overall pretty wreck.

First dive of the Blue Fire in Biscayne National Park. Almost didn't make it because of the government shutdown and uncertainty over whether we would be allowed at the site. This was Diane's and I's first dives without anyone else we knew on the boat. The descent was rather well, and although there was no current on the surface, there was a 1.5-2 knot current on the bottom. We swam around the wreck and then did a swim through. Saw some snappers in one of the hole. I then proceeded into an area I thought was a swim through and was spooked by a goliath grouper hanging out in the compartment. Afterward I started shooting lion fish. After nailing one, I went to go feed it to an eel but couldn't find him. While searching for the eel, I spotted a giant lion fish. Unfortunately he was below my MOD and I couldn't chase him for long out of fear of oxtox. I nailed one more lionfish towards the end of the dive but had to let him swim away because the current was too strong on the anchor line to despine him working our way up. Overall a fun Dive

This dive was on the tanks. They were pretty cool to see. Next to them is a pile of concrete/limestone boulders which have turned into an amazing reef. We landed on the tank facing West to East and we swam over to the one facing North to South. Saw the firing assembly inside of the second tank which was pretty cool. Killed a hogfish on the second tank and then swam around for a bit. This dive was also with Maykel, Diane, and Joshua. Saw another beautiful hog towards the end of the dive, but he managed to find a nice hiding spot.
