This was the only wall dive we did this trip. The coral here had some life (fan, fern, finger, brain and stovepipe) but there were no sponges to be seen. There was a school of blue tangs, a number of parrot fish (small), 2 lion fish and a medium-large grouper. I did not get to see the turtle. The surge made the ascent and getting on the boat rather tricky.

This dive was also a shallow dive in the afternoon. the surge and current picked up slightly which made for a challenging boat entry and poor visibility. This dive was most under passes and crevasses... some were a bit twisty. Saw three small rays (yellow and spotted eagle) on this trip.

The area was clearly over-fished for a number of years. However, the coral is starting to come back and we saw fan, fire, brain and stovepipe...but still sparse. For sealife, we saw barracuda, lion fish, wrasse and a lobster in a giant lobster pot (the size of the crab pots in "The Deadliest Catch"). The thing about the dive that was cool was the topography. There was a mix of canyons to swim through and around as well as sandy bottoms.
