Sharm el Sheikh Diving World has been the first Italian center to be established in Sharm. Operative since 1990 within the Kheima, it moved in 1999 to Marina Travco tourist port. Today, after almost twenty years since its opening, it has moved its premises in order to offer improved services to its guests in a more comfortable environment at a short distance from the port. The staff is the same, the same old friends, who are waiting for you with their professional expertise and kind care.

The British cargo ship the S.S. Thistlegorm. Bombed by two German Heinkel He-111 aircrafts on 6 oktober 1941. General characteristics: Tonnage: 4898 gt Length: 128 m (419 ft) Beam: 18 m (59 ft) Armament: 4.7-inch (120 mm) anti-aircraft gun Cargo: Bedford trucks, Universal Carrier armoured vehicles, Norton 16H and BSA motorcycles, Bren guns, cases of ammunition, and 0.303 rifles as well as radio equipment, Wellington boots, aircraft parts, and two LMS Stanier Class 8F steam locomotives.

I learned the basics of diving at Diving World Red Sea (Sharm El Sheikh). It was a pleasure diving with Giuseppe and Martijn!
