Low light dives because of rain and overcast above — not too bad visibility, but colors were obviously muted in the dull illumination. ^ lionfish — but all of them failed the drain test, so were left as chum...

A gem of a dive shop on Grand Anse Beach.
I have had the honor of being invited down to Grenada to teach for the past several years. During this time, it has been my great good fortune to meet and get to know the fine people at EcoDive. I have had the opportunity to dive with and learn from most of the dive masters and guest dive masters here over the past four years — a really top notch group of people. Every last one of them is fun and responsible to dive with, and caring about the reef and dive sites they visit. If you're lucky enough to be on a dive with EcoDive, you're lucky enough.

Best Staff and Dive Shop in Grenada!
The staff at Eco Dive are the absolute best in Grenada. The knowledgeable, family-friendly environment allows divers of all skill levels and backgrounds to comfortably enjoy the beautiful dive sites located off the coast of Grenada. A wide variety of classes are offered at Eco Dive, from beginner lessons to advanced training and specialty courses. The owners are both marine biologists, and Christine Finney is actively involved with the preservation of the local reefs as well as with the local population to develop more sustainable practices that assist with the local economy and ocean health. Christine has helped teach local fishermen how to hunt for lionfish, an incredibly destructive fish threatening the caribbean reefs, and has worked with local school children to raise awareness about the problem caused by this invasive species. If you're looking for a factory operation, this isn't the shop for you. Everything about Eco Dive is interpersonal and friendly. You will be greeted by smiling faces at the front desk, eagerly assisted by instructors and dive masters when picking out dive and snorkel equipment in the back, given an engaging dive briefing on the dive boat Thunderbird, and personally led on a tour by either a divemaster or instructor who will take the time to point out local marine life as you go. You won't find a better dive operation in Grenada, so check them out for all your diving needs in Grenada!
