Jim is a great instructor and helps make sure you are safe while having fun. I have done the open water and advanced class. The other instructors that help are also very knowledgeable and fun. I recommend doing the discover scuba if you are curious on the fun you are missing out on.

My self my Husband and two children received open water dive training at Fun Time Scuba with Jim and his staff.. We had a fantastic time ... He was patient and made sure we knew what we were doing and had a blast learning we used our skills while on vacation in mexico and went our several dives the training we received through jim made our trip more fun and safe .. I highly recommend fun time suba for people who want to learn diving or expand current diving levels ... when we test dove with jim it was in kentucky and was great

good local dive shop

Did OW training with FTS. Due to timing for vacation had to use another dive shop (Key West) for test out dives. Only did classroom and pool work at FTS. Jim was knowledgeable and very helpful. Answered all questions fully and didn't seem to mind how much time it took to train. Spent a lot of time in pool and again spent as much time as needed and sometimes stayed after class was supposed to end. I had mask issues and Jim swapped out mask until I found one that worked. Wife had same issue with fins. Wife did refresher class and made her feel comfortable again after not diving for 20 years. I was still in his class and he allowed me to practice in pool while working with her. She also joined me for class and got more pool time.
