Dived the "mini blue hole" This is not easy to find!!! There is no path to it. It can just about be seen from google maps. Took us ~30 minutes to find the stupid site. Entered in the mini blue whole, which was realy cool. There was a >1m swell going on inside it which was super cool. The exit through the swell was cool also. Lots of urchents at the site, along with a lot of fishies. Nice relaxing final dive of the Holiday.

Went to dive 2 tug boats. Tom lead, and we followed the books guidance. I decided to go a bit further out to get a better look while Tom followed the sand line. After a decent swim I saw the outline of the boat, then looked at Tom. Tom couldn't see the boat being slightly further away, and suggested going home. I pointed that it was ~10m away and then we saw it, and tom navigated to the second one fine. Lots of cool fishes on the boats!

Entered the lido and then "seeled" out into the sea. I tried to navigate a dive to some arches. Never found the arch, and didn't realy see anything for 30+ minutes. Ended surfacing after like 40 minutes, and I was a lot further East then I thought, but wen't back down as we were fine on Air. Navigated to a cool cave, then I found another set of out of place rocks with an octopus!!!!!! This one decided to play with the rocks for a bit. "sealed" back into the Lido, although I tried too early and the wrong place, and ended up cutting my leg a bit.

Great service for autonomous diving

Went with a group and only rented weights and tanks, with a few items of other kit for some people. They were very happy to help us out with picking up tanks whenever we asked, and happy to answer any questions about dive sites we were considering. The kit that i did see people renting also looked very good. The shop was also surprisingly accessible in the rental car we had for loading and unloading tanks, especially considering the location.

Maltaqua September 2012

We had a fantastic trip with Maltaqua. A weeks diving where they catered for our groups need sensuring that everyone dived the sites that they wanted to! We used their accomodation just around the corner from their dive centre. The staff and guides were friendly and everything was very organised. We would go back and dive with Maltaqua again and would recommend to anyone visiting Malta for some underwater exploration.

Open water with maltaqua

Very good dive center. Toute l'équipe est formidable des instructeurs jusqu'aux animateurs. Le matériel est en très bon état. Nous avons passer notre open water en famille et ce fut une très bonne expérience.
