Reef Pirates Review

Dove with Reef Pirates on 7 days over three days. Used the multi-day dive package deal and received a small discount by doing so. The boat crews/DMs we met were all friendly and professional. The boat is the smallest I dove off (they do market themselves as only taking a maximum of six divers every time which is why we chose them) and space was a bit cramped--don't go on this boat expecting a lot of creature comforts!! They have space for tanks and you sit with your rig basically. We had to unload our gear bag at the pier because there wasn't enough room for it. Also no head although usually not a huge deal and we didn't go too far out anyway. They also dont drop the 15' safety stop line that I've had on every other dive boat so we all had to crowd awkwardly on the mooring line. They did take us to some pretty cool sites and I appreciated the fact that they seemed concerned about not taking us to the same sites, even when someone requested to visit one we'd been to the week before--very cool. Overall I'd recommend them just be aware of some of the challenges I mentioned.
