Great dive with lots of fish...saw one lobster and one bullhead horn shark. Easy down, worked on buoyancy. Took lots of pictures, but the camera was stupid and didn't work. (Ordered my GoPro) Did a safety stop at 17' for 2 minutes gripping the anchor chain. Second of three dives.

First of three dives, and first dive since being certified. Was a little nervous to dive, but... it was a great dive! Did a buoyancy check before the dive, and shed 6 lbs. Got under the water easily. Dove with Theo (big, blue haired teenager) and Salty Sandy, Theo's dive guide. First time using Sundiver Charters = good experience.

Fun with Tom and Anthony. Two sea lions. nice rock formations. On the boat ride back pretty sea sick again, but we are accompanied by a large pod of small dolphins for a while, which was magic of course.

Great staff!

I've been on both their boats. The staff is awesome! I just want to start with that. Food, everything in that sort of way is cool. I've only been with my instructor on the boats. The Sundiver takes a long time(over 2 hours) to get to Catalina. The Sundiver Express takes only an hour but their air compressor was down which only allowed us to have 2 dives instead of the normal 3. They even had to stop at 2 harbors to fill 4 tanks for people to even get a 2nd dive in. It was nice not paying the full price but a bummer(and pain in the ass) that I now have to meet up with my instructor to finish up the last dive for our Advanced certification. I would still recommend them. Staff was cool. Great for classes.

Love this dive boat!!!

The Sundiver crew let me come up the night before and sleep aboard - even though there was no one else there. The captain even left me a note to greet me. Although there was a loose time table, the captain, Ray, threw it all to the wind and took us to the best spots on the island! No one knows our waters like captain Ray. The divemasters are amazing and mix humor in with all of their tasks, but they are always around to lend a helping hand should you need the extra help. Can't wait to come back!
