The PADI Discover Tec Program allows you to get introduced to technical diving without yet having to enroll in a course.

The PADI Scuba Review course has been mainly designed to help already certified divers refresh their skills and diving techniques, especially after a long period of inactivity.

The refresh dive is mandatory by law in Israel if you did not dive within the last 6 months. You will make this dive with an instructor who will refresh and update your knowledge (decompression, security, equipment…) and your skills. In shallow water, at the beginning of the dive, you’ll practice mask removal, regulator recovery, alternate air source breathing, and weight belt removal. Then, you will continue diving, practicing buoyancy control, guided by your instructor.

The PADI IDC Staff gives Master Scuba Divers Trainers additional training so they can take part in the training of Instructors and Specialty Instructors and lead the training of Assistant Instructors, an authority granted only to IDC Staff Instructors and Course Directors.

The PADI instructor training course – IDC (Instruction Development Course) – prepares you to become an Assistant Instructor or Open Water Scuba Instructor. It is intended for those who have already decided to take the professional track and have a solid knowledge of dive theory, experience as a guide or dive group leader, and a Rescue Diver certification, such as a PADI Divemaster.

The IDC allows you to apply your understanding of the PADI system as an educator and to better understand the educational philosophy developed by PADI. This course also teaches you what your role could be within the diving industry, how to contribute to its developments, and which opportunities the PADI market can offer you, especially if you are an instructor coming from another organization.

Acquiring PADI Specialty Instructor certificates will allow you to offer additional courses, knowledge and skills of primary interest to your students. Professionally, it is a qualification in demand by PADI centres and resorts.

The PADI Divemaster course is the first step towards a professional career. This course is very intense and must be personalized to meet your actual expectations, whether you want to complete your knowledge as a diver or you truly want to start training to be a future PADI instructor.

As for any training course, the status of Emergency First Response Instructor allows you to offer additional courses to your diving students and to possess an interesting qualification for yourself and for PADI centres and resorts where you wish to work.

Under the direction of a Course Director (EFR Instructor Trainer), you will learn to teach the Emergency First Response “Primary Care” (CPR) and Emergency First Response “Secondary Care” (First Aid) courses. You will learn to teach the theoretical foundation and the necessary techniques of handling emergency situations, especially in demonstrating all of the exercises required of course participants. You will learn in particular how to do the recommended exercises involving usage of the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), oxygen therapy equipment, and the treatment of a conscious adult who is choking.

The PADI Rescue Diver course is an important step in the progress and experience of a diver. It teaches you to increase your awareness of other divers, improves your reaction skills, and significantly boosts your self-confidence, whether it involves dealing with a simple case of helping someone or more complicated emergency situations. The Rescue Diver course, highly appreciated, provides the physical and mental preparation essential to get you ready to prevent, anticipate, and, if necessary, handle any diving accident. Knowing effective techniques of rescue and first aid, you will also have an increased sense of security when you dive.

This course is intended for all persons who would like to obtain a first aid certificate. It is not necessary to scuba dive in order to participate in this general course which teaches how to provide immediate care to victims from the start of the emergency until his evacuation.

For divers, this training is necessary prior to qualification as a PADI Rescue Diver.

The PADI Advanced Open Water diving course allows you, once you have acquired the basic techniques in the PADI Open Water diving course, to concentrate on your centers of interest and personalize your training, all while gaining experience and improving your diving skills. The purpose is to learn diving by diving.

The PADI Adventure Diver course is intended for those who not have enough time to complete the five required dives of the Advanced Open Water course or do not desire to take the deep dive or the navigation dive (both required for the AOW certification).

The Open Water referral course is ideal for vacationers, especially people who want to spend minimum time in the classroom during their stay in Eilat.

The Open Water referral course consists in completing the 2 first parts of the course (theory and confined water sessions) at your local diving center. Then you come to U-Dive and only have to worry about diving in the Red Sea!

Short on time and in a hurry to become a certified diver? The PADI Scuba Diver certification might just be for you. This course requires less time than the PADI Open Water Diver course, but leads to a real certification, valid for life, that will allow you, at first, to dive under the supervision of a professional, to the depth of 12 meters. This course gives you credit to finish the complete Open Water diving course.

The PADI Open Water diving course is your first passport to underwater world. It opens up an entirely new world in which you will learn how to become an independent diver. This course teaches you the basic skills of diving and leads you to the discovery of the underwater environment and spectacular coral reefs and marine life that it offers.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving is an introductory program to Scuba diving which allows people to go beyond a mere initiation. It represents an integral part of the PADI Open Water course and provides a credit usable for that course.
