Manta to Northern Pinnacles. Skipper: Walter Extremely bad surf conditions ~4.5m swells. The dive boat before us flipped. A little girl was injured (heard later that she is fine). People lost kit, weight belts, fins, etc. The dive itself was pleasant though. My hair came loose and the fish came right up to my mask swimming in my hair. Sea life: Moorish idols, boxer fish, nudibranchs, starfish, parrot fish

Advanced training Dive 1 : Environment Skipper: Walter Surface conditions were excellent, warm clear day. However, the feedback was that the underwater conditions were not in our favour. The current and surge at Pinnacles was particularly strong. The water was full of plankton reducing visibility between 6 and 12m. There were dive buoys everywhere. The DM lost the entire group, Donovan rounded us up and we ascended approx. a meter when we spotted the DM who then came over to join us. At this point I was low on air so Donovan, Andre, Delveen and myself ascended and hot-tubbed on the surface waiting for the boat. We aborted the safety stop due tot he current and surge. Saw approx. 7 Raggies, Bluestreak Cleaner wrasse, Moorish idol, tube like sponges.

Underwater world rocks

Very organized and keep members updated on all events. Underwater World is not a group of cowboys but rather big on safety. Received good training and will highly recommend them.
