Diver's Notes

Great spot quake struck and silted out bottom. Got scallop quota for the day. First time on this site and we certainly found the scallops. Dive was going great until quake silted the bottom out so had to abort dive. In silt out lost buddy and any sight of scallops. Meet buddy on ascent and completed ascent together. Also came very close to a large container ship and tug boat, I was concerned enough to stop and get my knife ready to cut my line to our dive buoy. Wife on shore reckoned our buoy was less than 3 metres from container ship which seemed right to use knowing how loud the props were underwater, and hence why I got ready to cut the line.
