Diver's Notes

On the final dive of certification, me and my 11yr buddy were expected to plan and lead the trip - its crazy how much more stressful it is to be in charge! (Reflected in how fast we both gulped down our air). We started going against the current, but it wasn't strong enough to be a problem. Explored a new part of the reef wall - saw a 5ft Moray Eel and liar trumpet fish. Two more puffer fish, but on their own and much less playful than the first dive. Missed the mooring that was our indication to turn back at the end of the dive with my buddy running low on air, which was a little stressful but our instructor played off as no big deal. Overall, it was fun to be in charge but I am happy to stick with a guide here on out.
