Diver's Notes

The world famous Monad Shoal. Probably the best site in the world to see thresher sharks. They come up from their usual deep water home to be cleaned on a plateau by cleaner wrasse. The cleaners eat the dead skin and parasites as the sharks glide past. We saw about ten individuals up to 8m in length including one that swam about a metre over my head. They have beautiful big black eyes belying their killer nature. Fabulous creatures.
