    Molokini Mid Reef

First dive after completing my training. Includes the pleasant crew Andy, Kate th deck hand and AJ the knowledgeable dive master. Enjoyed the small crew that takes a mindful and naturalist perspective on the sea life. Our guide AJ moves slowly and I appreciate not rushing past the reefs and skipping over the details. We saw some rare creatures including a star of the sea. I adapted quickly to this fresh experience through beginners eyes, enjoying the freedom from gravity the flotation, full dimensionality of multiple planes, free from the surface plane of life on the surface of the earth bound by gravity and its limitations. I felt my buoyancy was better than during the training. After flying gently floating and descending to the sandy bottom I felt deeper into the present moment mindful of my breathing slowing my breath yet still requiring deep breathes of oxygen. I felt no fear, at ease monitoring my growing comfort in this alternate world. The beautiful fish of the reef Swift above large healthy coral set against the backdrop of deep blue ocean beyond the creator.
