We are participating today in the startup contest Techcrunch Disrupt. Support Diveboard by voting for us!
Demonstrated teaching basic open water skills, including my favorites (partial mask flood/clear, full mask flood clear, full mask removal, and swimming with no mask). The surge made it interesting trying to do some of the skills, like BCD removal and replacement, but gave me new confidence in doing them under those conditions.
Found a lost 2lb weight in the sand where we did the skills, which was helpful giving me a little extra weight to settle at the bottom for gear removal and other skills where staying put was helpful.
