2017-09-27 - Playa Palitos, Barú, Colombia

18m - 62 min - Dived with Helmer Torres

Beach entry. Very warm water, average visibility due to organic matter in suspension. Many corals dead or bleaching. Visibility and coral health were better at 15m or deeper where water was a couple degrees cooler (29 instead of 31ºC)

2017-09-27 - Playa Palitos, Barú, Colombia

9.9m - 42 min - Dived with Helmer Torres from El Pez León

Calm night dive to end the day! Saw many lobsters, a couple of lionfish (bad thing we left the speargun in the boat) and some bioluminiscent plankton with lights off. Diving around the thermocline in darkness was a cool experience.
