Ausrüstung Verpflegung, Pause auf Half Moon Caye und jeweils 2 Stunden An-/Abfahrt (Trip insg 10 Stunden) Gruppe: 12 inkl. 3 Guides, Sicht: 20m, Anzug: 3mm Das Great Blue Hole ist annähernd kreisförmig, misst über 300 Meter im Durchmesser und ist bis zu 125 Meter tief. Am Ende der letzten Kaltzeit entstand es in den Kalksteinschichten und bildet einen Zugang zu einem unterirdischen Höhlensystem, welches durch den steigenden Meeresspiegel geflutet wurde. kleines Riff im Innenkreis des Blue Holes bis ca 13m und ab dann senkrecht abfallende Steilwand mit Überhang. Schlechte Sicht (komplett Schwarz!) nach unten durch Übergang und große Tiefe. Riesige Stalagtiten ab 30m. Viel Sediment und Seepflanzen an den Steilwänden. 5 Minuten Safety Stop auf 5 Meter gemacht. giant Lobster, sehr wenige kleine Fische, tief im Blue Hole gar keine Fische

Gruppe: 6, Sicht: 30m, Anzug: 3mm Sehr steil auf 1.000m abfallendes intaktes Riff mit sehr vielen Hart-/Weichkorallen (riesige Topfkorallen) und Swim-Throughs an Steilwänden. Sehr schöner Tauchspot! Fische sind Taucher nicht gewöhnt und daher sehr neugierig und nicht scheu. Erster Teil des TG um das Riff mit Steilhang und zweiter Teil sehr sandig mit Seegras 2 Grey Reefsharks, mehrere giant Black Groupers, einer davon hat sich von uns streicheln lassen und ist uns die Hälfte des TG gefolgt (wie Gassi gehen) bis die Haie aufgetaucht sind, Oktopus, 2x Hawksbill Turtle, giant Barracuda, Garden Eals, Trumpet-/Cornetfishes, 2x Lionfishes, Triggerfishes, Lobster
