Dive Buddy mike Badal.
Visibility was poor. Current was strong. Dive conditions were overall bad but decided to go ahead with the dive. We were quickly swept by an underwater current. We attempted to find buoyancy but could not. Aborted dive after 20 min. We filled BC's and floated. Current was too strong to swim, decided to let the current take us. Ended up 500 yards or more from where we entered the water. Walked up the beach shore with all equipment.
Lesson learned - You can plan a great dive but you cant predict the weather. Don't be afraid to cancel a dive if the conditions are poor or dangerous.
