There’s only stairs going in and there were a couple of snorkelers just in their swim trunks swimming around in the 65° water which I thought was odd. I was wearing my wetsuit hood as I definitely did not want to get cold and expected to be down a lot longer due today shallow depth. I could not get as much good GoPro film footage due to the lack of light and the fact that I was busy making my way through all the cracks and crevices that you can swim in forever. Matt and Ben stayed on the tops of the boulders and did not descend down to the cave floor as Ben was not feeling confident enough to make his way through the small openings required. It’s an amazing experience diving there and they’re all sorts of cave offshoots at 40 feet that are barricaded with pipe so you can’t go any further. It was fun shining your light into those areas though they did seem like they could handle a diver easily. We probably swim around the circumference of the circular pool probably about three times before Mark and Ben wanted to ascend. We were down there only about 40 minutes though I easily could’ve dove for well over that time and maybe even an hour. I tend to be a very shallow breather so I can make my oxygen last for quite a long time. I got some great shots looking up at the dive platform from below with the limited amount of light that was coming in. It made the atmosphere quite dark and forboding

This was a truly terrific dive. I got warmed up after the Blue Grotto and was able to navigate the "swim throughs" successfully. I went around the circumference of the sinkhole three times before realizing it. It was a small area as spring dives are. The visibility was terrific. It was a great introduction to confined spaces.

Feeling a lot better with this one. We saw a few species of fish. I had some issues when I cleared my mask - instead of clearing it, I flooded it. Once we ascended, I dropped my mask/snorkel, but thankfully my awesome dive buddy was able to retrieve it for me.

This was my Intro to Caves & Caverns dive for my Advanced course. A lot of anxiety during the initial descent, very panicky feeling esp. when I saw Michael descend more into the darkness, but it went away after ~ 1-2 minutes. Once I was calmer, I tried to enjoy exploring the environment.
