Torpedo macneilli (Whitley, 1932) (Short-tail torpedo ray)
An offshore species found on continental shelves and slopes . Found near rocky reefs, over sand and mud bottoms . Feeds on fishes and crustaceans . Ovoviviparous . Capable of severely shocking people if handled .
