Diver's Notes

Had cramps from start to finish....stressful dive. Had to resurface a number of times because we got lost, swimming towards the buoy instead. Saw lots of flat sand worms, extending their bodies to feed. Then came across a large sea horse, biggest I have seen. Didn't get a good picture as I was stressed and still having cramps. Discovered that there was a scallop below the seahorse after reviewing the photos.

Resurfaced to get bearings, surface swim to the rocky outcrops, then dive down but lost Jon again. Had to resurface. After reuniting, the dived again was able to find all the abalones.
