Diver's Notes

Wind moderate SW
7:30am tide rising to max at 8:30am.
Waves got quite big on entry at rock platform. Doron got swept off before finning up. Then I got swept in next wave - tore my left boot on a rock - banged left knee but all fine.
Snorkel against rising current to level with mermaid rock, went down to boulders.
Saw huge grouper, then a giant cutter fish.
Found cathedral cave after about 10mins, then going left to slot cave saw huge grey nurse shark 10m ahead of us - amazing.
Huge schools of yellow minis, and big eyes heading toward us as we approached slot cave.
Really great dive, continued further north for a bit to next swim through. Head back on 70bar. Enough air to get back to boat ramp.
