First boat dive. First roll entry. Reef dive, saw small fish, starfish. Need to control bouyancy. Need a primary smb. Had problems with backup smb. Panicked on way back up, low on air, need to remain calm.

Compass on Surface to the Marker Buoy 5 Point Decent (Aborted and retried) Compass underwater with buddies (Dan lead 30m and I returned on reciprocal). Mask Off Skills Hover. Was fine, though tide was going out fast so we had to keep close to the marker buoy. CESA. Easier than expected, though needed a kick at the end. Belt slipped during the dive and had to be readjusted at the end of the dive. DB Dan lost his mask during his CESA skill, so we had to swim (on backs) to the harbour wall to get a new mask. Another team found his mask before the end of the dive.

Planned MiniDive Collectively decided to turn the dive at 117bar (We were SPOT ON) As a point of reference we used the cafe as a naviagation point. We turned dive on the reciprocal to the harbour wall, where we descended to the bottom to the deployment of the SMB. INST Steve acted as my buddy. As the SMB was filled the line got stuck, so we collectively cleared the snag. We then did a controlled ascent and finished with removal and replacement of weightbelt and then BCD.
