Species Identified

Corythoichthys amplexus Dawson & Randall, 1975 (Brown-banded pipefish) Inhabits coral reefs . Ovoviviparous . The male carries the eggs in a brood pouch which is found under the tail . Males may be brooding at 5.0-5.5 CM SL .
Bothus mancus (Broussonet, 1782) (Flowery flounder)
Fistularia tabacaria Linnaeus, 1758 (bluespotted cometfish) A solitary species occurs over grass flats and reefs, and on hard and rocky bottoms . Feeds on fishes, small crustaceans or invertebrates.
Platax boersii Bleeker, 1852 (Golden spadefish) Adults occur mostly in large schools along drop-offs, including outer reefs; singly in coastal waters. Juveniles are on deep slopes among tall coral formation . Benthopelagic .
Stenopus hispidus (Olivier, 1811) (banded coral shrimp)
Muraena retifera Goode and Bean, 1882 (Moray eel) Known only from moderate depths along outer continental shelf.
