Species Identified

Chlorurus gibbus (Rüppell, 1829) (Heavybeak parrotfish) Usually in groups on the outer reef . Caught with nets, and other types of artisanal gears.
Scorpaenopsis cirrosa (Thunberg, 1793) (Weedy stingfish)
Chelidonichthys spinosus (McClelland, 1844) (Red gurnard) Found in the tropical to warm temperate areas , in sandy or sandy mud bottom .
Upeneus subvittatus (Temminck and Schlegel, 1843) (Silver goatfish) Inhabits sandy and muddy areas in coastal waters . Seen in small groups in about 15 m depth .
