Diver's Notes

MANTAS!!!! We got to see giant oceanic manta rays. There were 5-6 around us, circling. They got closer with each pass. It was pretty amazing.

The dive itself was a bit challenging as there was current and it required us to hook in. That was a first. Now I know I can do that. And also now know how that feels. Next time will be less wary about it all.

The only issue was maneuvering in the current and the coral formations. I did end up with a number of hydra coral stings on my ankles.

Yellow leaf scorpion fish
Saw 3 different types of puffers:
- one with blue dots on it
- a grey puffer
- a yellow puffer
