Species Identified

Chlorurus cyanescens (Valenciennes, 1840) (Blue humphead parrotfish) Found around deep rocky reefs up to a depth of at least 30 m . Solitary or in small groups . Also caught with nets and other kinds of artisanal gear. Mainly sold fresh.
