Species Identified
Microstomus pacificus (Lockington, 1879) (Dover sole)
Occurs on mud bottom . Moves into deep water in winter . Produces large amounts of slime which may cover other fishes when caught in trawls . Marketed as mink food or as fillet .

Utilized 7mm wetsuit and hood.
The dive shop was weak. More of a sports (skate/surf) shop. The guy said he would apply 10% military discount, when on the phone. Not really.
$140 2-tank shore dive + $15 per tank refill/rental ($30) + $15 for wet suit rental = $180........really?
The dive guide was awesome, though.
