Diver's Notes

av depth: 7.9m

Third attempt at seeing Leafy Dragons. Seb had gone last weekend with Dive Adelaide and found them so he knew where they were at the end of the jetty. And I found it! There was only one juvenile around today (normally there is an adult male with eggs as well but we couldn't find him). I had nearly given up and started shooting a spider crab when I saw this piece of weed flying around which turned out to be the Leafy. Conditions were terrible though, lots of surge and terrible vis so got some photos then got out with nearly 100 bar still in the tank. Exit was very difficult with massive swell, really not a very nice day in the water. So did only one dive and then left. Will go back and get some better shots and footage when the conditions are better again :)
