First time getting a Jelly sting. Stepped off the boat into a swarm of them. Kinda glad I know what it feels like, theres a first time for everything. This was a really cool drift dive. We drifted about a mile. Had a GPS on the boat tracking our drop of and pickup location.

This was a drift dive. This was the only time I used an aluminum tank on the dive. I used 5 lbs extra to compensate, but that was just barely enough. I was fine when I got in, but as I used my air, I started to become buoyant. We made a safety stop for as long as we could, but the dive computer was beeping. Even as dead weight holding on to my dad and step mom, I was floating up. Lesson learned thankfully nothing serious happened.

This was a great dive too! Loved that there was like no jellies here! It was amazing to swim in the trenches between all the coral. Surfaced a long swim away from the boat. It was easy to get confused. We went back down and swam until we were low on air. The surface swim was the worst! All totally worth it!
