COZUMEL, MEXICO
Caballito del Caribe
Found the reef at about 50 feet. Followed it down through a few swim-throughs. On the second one, saw a nurse shark approximately three and a half feet. Continued through, back over reef and into another swim through to the white coral cross. Wendy doesn't think it was the right one. After the nurse shark, saw the HUGEST barracuda I've ever seen! Had to be at least four and a half feet. Wendy got a few 'good shots' with her Nikonos. The sand was littered with sea stars at descent. Visibility about 40 feet because of a recent hurricane that hit Belize.
