Refresher dive after a long time away from diving. Will start Advanced Open Water Diving tomorrow, exciting! Refresher dive went well, all the basic skills are still there, guess it's a bit like riding a bicycle. But good to go through all that since I am diving with a lot of new equipment, for example the regulator hose was pretty short. I Can really recommend the Big Blue diving center in Dahab, well organized, professional,small groups, personal attention and fun. There are some pics of them in this post.
Navigation training (line, square, natural). Not too difficult except we were in a lagoon with sandy bottom and few natural navigational points. Great encounter with a sea horse on a mooring line! and octopus hidding in mooring blocks.

The Deep Dive in the AOW training, No problems with narcosis but easy to go "too deep", really need to keep an eye on the dive computer, why don't they put depth alarms on these things?

This is the Drift Dive for AOW. It's a classical dive here in Dahab, you enter through a chimney and then drift to the famous Blue Hole which you enter from the "sea side" Not that much of a current but beautiful dive with the funny entry through the chimney and then drifting with a drop of 500 meters on your left. Just magical!

The Night Dive for AOW. Not my kind of thing apparently, felt slightly lost most of the time and had to work hard to stay with my buddy Alistair, not much to see and viz only so/so.

Bells to Blue Hole again. This time on Nitrox 32 part of the PADI training EANX. Far too many people at the Bells, had to wait a long time in the heat, fully geared. Lousy buddy too! But the dive is so beautiful it made up for the rest.

Finished my training, PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Enriched Air Nitorx! Still a little time to enjoy a couple of dives today, but feeling tired, windy, strong current, had to put on one extra kilo of weights today.
