Spots and recent dives

My peak performance buoyancy dive was pretty easy. All the practice that the previous 10 dives gave me really helped, and although I did catch my tank on the top hoop I repeated the maneuver without a problem. I love the huge pincushion starfish at this dive site, and I saw the cutest little blue spotted cowfish.

Dove the Sea Tiger again, on our way to the dive site we saw a pod of spinner dolphins, and big pod with some very cute calves swimming next to their mothers. The dive was much the same. The two big eels were still there, we saw big schools of blue-striped snapper, goat fish, morish idols, yellow tangs, pink tailed tangs, striped pilot fish, Naso tangs with their baboon faces, angel fishes, tiny spotted box fish, big green sea turtles, yellow trumpet fish, and corals.

Diving with Robert today we did our navigation training. I have heard my friends who are dive instructors laughing about students who mess it up really badly and they have to go looking for them, or do it with them step by step so they can pass. I am guessing they didn't explain how to use the compass properly and the students didn't study the book because the tasks were very easy, and I had no problem making my square. The visibility impeded me from seeing Bob from the far corners of my square so it was a real relief when I made my third turn and headed straight back and he was right where I left him. Then we explored the reef and I saw two, count them TWO frog fish! They are my favourite! One was mottled brown and green and the other was yellow. Such cool fish. Bob was very sad that I didn't call him over and show him, seems he loves them too.
