Turtle Canyon aka Eel Garden. Easy little 2nd dive after deep dive. Surge but not too bad. I was great at finding eels, and we saw several turtles. Good dive. Not great vis. I should try 12 lbs next time. Jill ok with 14.

Couldn't do the Corsair wreck due to strong south swell, so moved to the LCU wreck. A purpose-sunk WWII landing craft that was upside down, so you could swim through and explore underneath. Very strong current in first 30 feet of depth that got stronger when we surfaced, so that it was very difficult to complete your safety stop as the current was pulling your mask from your face and causing your regulator to purge. Tough to hold onto the line. Cool dive. Saw a shark and a ray. Used 14lbs. Should try 12 next time. Not impressed with Waikiki Dive Center. Shitty process, shitty boat, no roll call.

"Koko Crater is a great place for certified divers and beginners! It has a depth limit of forty feet. Koko Craters is a series of underwater craters formed when Koko Head erupted. This is a cleaning Station for the Hawaii Green Sea Turtle. Some say it’s the turtle capital of the world. Koko Craters is Capt Chris’s Favorite shallow dive sight because he has seen everything come by one time or another from humpback whales to Monk Seals. He says there’s nothing like showing a first time diver a whale, dolphin or a monk seal. Excellent beginner to novice scuba diving site, 30′-40′ sand bottom with several craters. Several resident green sea turtles rest here. Schools of soldierfish and friendly, large puffers." Copied from the Waikiki Dive Centre.

very good experience
We bought the 2tank deal. It worthed the money for sure, specially for the first dive (Sea Tiger). The second dive was pretty average in a random shallow area around the Horseshoe Bay The first dive was at the Sea Tiger wreck. very fun and relatively easy deep dive even for the recent openwater divers. **If you hate being cold during diving please remember to ask for a wetsuit, which covers more of your body or have some extra layers on. They offer wetsuits with the short sleeve and short legs. Although we dove in the summer in perfect conditions, almost everyone got so cold during the second dive. I mostly blame the type of the wetsuits they had. Other than that all their scuba equipment was in a very good condition.
