The marine conservation organization Project Seahorse has a way for you to help improve the understanding and conservation of seahorses. In 2013 they launched a website (www.iSeahorse.org) and free iPhone app (available on the App Store) called iSeahorse. iSeahorse harnesses the power of citizen scientists, anyone anywhere in the world who sees a seahorse in the wild can take part. You simply need to upload your photos and observations of seahorses to the website or app. Once uploaded, these seahorse sightings become part of a growing global database which Project Seahorse and other scientists and conservationists around the world can use to understand and protect these magnificent creatures.
