Diver's Notes

Penetration! After a few dives having a look for an entry point Nick found a nice one on the stern, just behind the gun. Marc and Mark followed, but we lost them once we had entered the wreck.

The entry point was quite small, so the vis was kicked up a bit getting ourselves in the hole. Once inside it was quite vast and easy to navigate. Thick lines have already been laid within the wreck, with Dave You stating they have been there over 10yrs. Everything was quite silty inside, so had to keep the finning to the minimum! Half way we dropped down (so going up a deck) and swam past the main guns. Towards the bow we saw light and exited on the hull side of the wreck, to be greeted by a strong current.
