Species Identified

Dasyatis microps (Annandale, 1908) (Smalleye stingray) Inhabits coastal waters and river mouths . Found on the continental shelf. Maximum disc width of about 180 cm. Ovoviviparous . Caught very rarely by the demersal tangle net fisheries operating in shelf waters. Utilized for its meat, cartilage and probably also its skin .
