VERY close and SCARY encounter with a mean looking shark - Was either a Gray Nurse (sand tiger) or Bronze Whaler. Teeth were thin, twisted looking, and curved (yes that close) - Dark Gray in color and easily bigger than me (6'). We went back to the Dinghy and went to the other side of the reef to finish the dive...

More of a float dive since it was very shallow. The staghorn and Plate coral were so dense and just below the surface we had nowhere to go. First dive after Margaret was certified. Blue Spotted Ray, Emperors, Cod, friendly moon wrasse that swam and actually swam into our hands.. probably looking for food from other friendly divers. Location is 40KM NORTH of the Tropic of Capricorn.
