Species Identified

Xanthichthys caeruleolineatus Randall, Matsuura & Zama, 1978 (Blue-line triggerfish)
Parablennius marmoreus (Poey, 1876) (seaweed blenny)
Abudefduf bengalensis (Bloch, 1787) (Bengal sergeant) Occurs singly or in small groups in inshore reef and lagoon environments. Feeds on algae, gastropods, and small crabs. Highly territorial .
Lutjanus fulgens (Valenciennes, 1830) (golden african snapper) Occur on rocky bottoms . Also found in deeper offshore waters. Feed on fishes and crustaceans.
Pomadasys striatus (Gilchrist and Thompson, 1908) (striped grunter) Found mainly around fringing reefs.
