Goal was to reach Mitridium Field. Descended in the kelp beds to start the dive. Jellyfish EVERYWHERE! Todd found a boat ladder and I helped him carry it out. I had changed to an aluminum tank and did not add enough weight. Had to surface after I burnt my tank down to 1000# couldn't stay down! Need 24# in belt. Also saw a gigantic purple sea cucumber of some sort.
Visibility very nice this time. Very nice site diving around bi kelp beds and rocky bottom. Made friends with a harbor seal who proceeded to follow us biting our fins along the way.
More of the same. Met our seal buddy again. And his little brother was following a distance behind. Got off course and ended up at wrong beach about 100yds off.

First dive off of Mc Abee Beach near El Torritos. Swam through kelp forest with a few harbor seals, but not much else. The old cannery pipes were also off this beach.
