Pirate Bear
- Pirate Bear's trip Salsette 2015
Blown out of Salsette, tried for binny but too rough around the bill. Winds from the west. Nice dive with Nessa but slight floaty feet. Lots of fish around plus found a large ray/skate egg husk and lots of squid eggs. Strange wheel contraption connected by chain to a large pipe/mast.
Nick and mark. Nick and I just buzzed around on the scooter most of time. Saw a massive plaice but nothing else too remarkable.
Current still running like a train throughout whole dive. Struggle getting down the line as so much of it. Wreck pretty dark and only 2/3 metres of viz. Mark had various challenges so Michelle ended up joining us. Almost swam inside Wreck without knowing at one point as it was so dark.
Scallop drift with Chris ware. Just buzzed around Chris on nicks scooter as he collected scallops. Only interesting find was some strange sonar equipment which looked very new at one point and old in others.
