This a holiday trip my dad, brother and I went on. Our visibility first of all was amazing...during our stay in Zanzibar we've not had good weather to dive til the day before we had to leave. We asked our dive guide what the best visibility is to expect to he replied with 20 - 25m!...we were indeed shocked because where we were from our best vis is only up to 7m and when we saked what will our vis be due to the weather he said with a chuckle that we will have 15 - 20m today. We had 2 dives in one day. Dive 1 We dived towards the edge of a sand bed and towards a slope on our left where we saw loads of coral, fascinating rock shapes and other sea creatures. To our front and right we saw many schools of fish, a huge parrot fish and other divers too. After the dive we took a small break and were gifted a snack platter of fruit while we rested and dived again. Dive 2 We were diving the one side of the sand bed and were led to another slope on our right side but steeper... we saw cinder blocks and other infrastructure the size of tables that was covered in sea life and coral and most interesting to me, a trumpet fish but swimming upright. After our dive we were heading back but on our way we encountered dolphins! A pod of 2 and the guide asked us who wants to swim with them? My brother and i said us and the guide with no hesitation said "Well put your masks on and jump quickly!" My brother and I did as instructed and were amazed by such beauty that the dolphins were behaving and that is indeed an experience to remember with my dad and brother.
