Buddy: Maddie Dive Center: GC Dive Adventures Very calm, glassy seas. Lots of coral cover, but not so many fish. Wildlife: • Some sort of small skate or stingray • A couple of scorpionfish • Some small nudis Skills: • Practiced DSMB deployment. All went well. I learned that when you disconnect your LP hose underwater, you need to push it in to counteract the pressure, while pulling back on the collar.

Buddy: Harry Dive Center: GC Dive Adventures We ascended early because we were cold. Wildlife: • Swam through a bait ball • Saw tons of wobbegongs • Saw a huge bull ray Skills: Practiced mask clearing, both flooding and full removal. Did very well maintaining my bouyancy, but I still have some initial choking reflex.
